Saran Koly, a French-Ivorian journalist, spent the last 4 months in Haiti. During this time, on her “100 days in Haiti” blog published on liberation.fr, she told stories of daily life. To show that, alongside the devastation described by international media, the life of Haitians has resumed its course.

We met Saran on Friday, her last day in Port-au-Prince. She told us the reasons that motivated her to come here, and what she wanted to convey through her stories:

Since May, Saran has worked for CDAC, being in charge of media relations. CDAC (communicating with disaster affected communities) is a platform whose goal is to ensure better communication between the humanitarian organisations, the government, the local media, and the population.
